Linda Cechura
Associate Attorney
Linda is an Associate Attorney, and was admitted to practice law by the Supreme Court of Texas in November 2007.
After scoring among the top 2% in the country of persons taking the Law School Admissions Test,
she graduated with Honors from the University of Texas School of Law in May 2007, obtaining her Doctorate of Jurisprudence.
She was the Keith Morrison Endowed Presidential Fellowship in Law Recipient for 2004 – 2005,
the Irma Bates Batten & Robert Knox Batten Endowed Presidential Fellowship in Law Recipient in 2005 – 2006
and the University of Texas School of Law Merit Scholarship Recipient in 2006 – 2007.
Prior to attending law school, Linda worked as a paralegal at Zimmerman, Axelrad, Meyer, Stern & Wise, P.C. from 1993 – 2004 and at Ron Ramey, Inc. from 1991 – 1993. Although her primary area of practice was family law, she also assisted on a wide variety of civil matters including bankruptcy, probate and estate administration, commercial litigation, employment law, insurance defense, personal injury cases and corporate law.
Linda obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and was a high school English teacher at Dickinson High School for several years before becoming a paralegal.
In her currently almost non-existent free-time, Linda enjoys volunteering to help with homeless animals.
